There are several different styles of Sash Window products available, and Sash Windows Online offers them with a wealth of customisable options.
Traditional Sash Windows
The original Sash Window design is a simple one-over-one panel design and has been in use in England since the 1670s, for example at Ham House in London.
Victorian Sash Windows
Victorian Sash Windows employ a slightly more complicated 'four-over-four' panel design. The box sash was the most popular type of window in Victorian times.
Georgian Sash Windows
Georgian sashes were more typically two moveable sashes divided each into six panes with narrow glazing bars, and are more decorative than Victorian Sash Windows.
Marginal Sash Windows
Marginal Sash Windows feature narrower side panes so that the central window is larger, allowing in more light than Georgian or Victorian Sash Windows.
